What Is The Challenge Shootout?

Introducing the ultimate challenge for clay target shooters - Cypress Creek Shootout Challenge!
Our event is designed to push even the most experienced shooters to their limits. We've set up an array of 25 targets that will test your accuracy, speed, and skills like never before.
These clay targets are no easy feat but guarenteed fun. With varying trajectories, speeds, and long distant shots, you'll need to stay on your toes to hit them all.

How Does It Work

The rules are simple. The highest score out of 25 wins. 

You can enter as many times as you'd like during the month of May. We will take your highest score out of the number of times you've played, and that will be your competitive score!

CASH is preferred. However, if you'd like to pay online you can. There will be a service charge of $15 will be added to your entry fee for fees if you pay online. All payments will be made onsite.

PRACTICE

Practice will be available to shoot at our 5-stand. You will get 15 targets for your practice round. If you'd like to practice before you shoot the challenge course, please reserve your spot when you make your shooting reservation either online or by calling us!

DRAWING

Everyone that enters the shooting challenge will automatically be entered to win a drawing prize. The winner will be announced on June 1st.

Tie Breakers:

After you complete your 25 targets, you will shoot an additonal mandatory 5 targets at our Challenge Target Station. The Challenge Target will be scored seperatly from the event. Your score on the Challenge Target will determine the winner in the event of a tie. Whoever has the highest score on the Challenge Target will win the tie breaker. In the event that you also tie in the Challenge Target, we will then revert back to your scores on each station starting at staion 1 (one). We will review your scores to see who missed first. For example, if the person you're tied with shot a 4/5 on station one and you shot a 5/5 on station one, you would be the winner of the tie breaker.

Signup:

You must make a reservation to shoot. Each reservation slot is one hour long. You are allowed to enter as many times as you'd like during the month of May to try to get the highest score possible. 

SCORING:

A trapper will go out with you to pull and keep score. You will be scored on a total of 25 targets in the main event and a total of 5 targets in the Challenge Target. You will need to sign your score on each station. Your highest score out of the 25 targets will be the score we keep for your competitive score. You can re-enter as many times as you'd like in the month of May to try and beat your previous score or a current high score. Your score out of 5 on the Challenge Target station will used in the event a tie breaker is needed. 

The pit

The challenge course will be held at The Pit. You will see targets that will both challenge you and keep you wanting to come back for more. The Pit is a unique piece of terrain that allows us to be able to throw a variety of targets. From monster tower shots to long crossers that will be shot from below your feet! Everyone that enters in Thc Challenge shoot will also automatically be entered to win a drawing we are having on June 1st. Great targets and great times are sure to be had!
